Ayomikun Akintayo is the Founder and
Executive Director of Wake-Up Call Africa, a Non-Governmental Organization that
has consistently been involved in the grooming of a productive African
workforce for the past 4 years. He is also the CEO and principal Consultant at Start-Up
Guide a firm focused on Guiding ideas form inception to fulfilment and this is
the platform where he fully practice as a Business and Organization Development
Consultant. He has being actively involved in the building and development of large
organizations since 2011. He was once the National President of a reputable
Fellowship in Nigeria, a position that necessitated him to also coordinate the
fellowship across West Africa. He is certified in Science research, Workplace
Management, Change management, Psychology, Data Science, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
He is an alumnus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and Beni American University.
His Ventures
Ayomikun is a young serial entrepreneurs
with a keen interest in startups and he is devoted to building for himself and
others. He is currently most actively involved in his Social Entrepreneur
efforts through Wake-Up Call Africa. But he is also building some start-up
businesses of his own which includes Start-Up Guide and AIP farms.
Wake-Up Call Africa is a
Non-Governmental Organization that focuses on 3 target population; Secondary
school students, Undergraduates and the SMEs. They deliver their vision of
building a productive workforce through a 4-wheel vehicle: Secondary School
Rally, Community Solutions Generation, Tertiary Institution Conferences and Business
Clinics
The Startup Guide produces monthly
publications of educative information that could give budding entrepreneurs
access to directives and information that could guide them to build global
brands. Beyond the monthly publications he also offers premium services to subscribers,
the services include Business Diagnosis, Business registration, Business plan
and model development, Organization structuring, Lean startup guide, Business
Funding, Human Capacity development, Research and development and other
business and organization development services.
AIP Farm is the production arm of
Fresh Farm Output (FFO) which is established simply to make fresh food
accessible to the low and middle class at a price below luxury cost.
Aspiration
A serial entrepreneur usually has
numerous vision of the future but the numerous visions are branches coming out
of a larger trunk. The Trunk vision of Ayomikun Akintayo is to significantly
contribute to the building of a highly productive Africa, with a robust economy
and consistently leading global growth. In terms of his role in this future, he
aspires to be on the forefront of Business (SMEs and IDEs) and Organization
Development globally constantly pushing the frontiers of possibilities.
Impacts and Achievements
Though his journey has just began,
but he has left a few trails behind on his path. He has organized and convened over
a score of notable events through various organization during his roles as the
leader of such organization. Such events includes, Global Student Congress,
Leadership Summits, Series of Trainings, University Conferences, Business
clinics, Product exhibitions, secondary school events and many more. These
events have hosted notably personals such as the Vice-President Electric (as at
then), Leaders of industry and top professionals in various fields
He prides in his capability to
achieve record breaking growth rates in any organization he leads and he has demonstrated
this in his previous organizations.
His NGO was awarded the best
performing NGO run by a Corp member for the Batch B 2015 set by Rivers Kopaz.
He also bags some other recognition awards from previous organizations he has
worked with in recognition for his immerse recognition to the organization
growth.
Some Other notable Points in his life
He was once regarded by his teachers
and peers as a dullard without any capacity for retention, he repeated his
first year in Senior class Science and he turned around to be an Outperformer,
out shining most of his pairs from that point onward.
He is an Introvert. He constantly
struggled on the inside to take up the spotlight or facing large audience. He has
now worked on himself that people now perceived him to be an extrovert and he
regularly address large audience. He recently addressed over 20,000 people at a
National convention.
He is from Nigeria and a Spotlight in all spheres of life
